These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VERA, a wellness companion provided by Veste Health, a brand of ProActive Solutions for Life, LLC ("Veste Health," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using VERA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VERA.
VERA is an evidence-based wellness and self-understanding companion. She provides general health education and observations drawn from established medical sources, and helps you organize your health information and prepare for conversations with your clinicians.
VERA is not a medical device, and she does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Using VERA does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or other professional relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something VERA told you.
In an emergency or crisis, call or text 988 (U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911. VERA is not an emergency service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use VERA. By using VERA you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may export your data or permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings.
You agree not to misuse VERA, including by: using her for unlawful purposes; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service; sharing your account in violation of these Terms; or relying on her output as a substitute for professional medical care.
You retain ownership of the health information and content you provide. You grant Veste Health a limited license to process that content solely to operate and provide VERA to you. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We do not sell your data or use your conversations to train public AI models.
VERA, the Veste Health name and marks, and the software, design, and content of the service are owned by Veste Health and its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
VERA relies on third-party providers (including Anthropic for AI processing, OpenAI for voice, Stripe for payments, and others described in our Privacy Policy). Your use of VERA may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
VERA is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that VERA’s observations are complete or error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veste Health and ProActive Solutions for Life, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on VERA for medical or health decisions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using VERA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of VERA after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ProActive Solutions for Life, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
